Committee Responsibilities

Design and maintenance of entrance areas.

Design and maintain parkways and cul-de-sacs.

OFEHA is responsible for the maintenance and improvement of our subdivision's common grounds. Here is a detailed overview of where the common grounds are located. We would like to invite you to take a driving tour of the subdivision so you can familiarize yourself with the common areas. Common ground beautification projects increase the value of our subdivision's homes. Funds for these projects are generated from our homeowner's association dues, applying for Village matching grants for projects, and funds distributed from the Village President's Golf Outing based on subdivision's homeowner participation. This is a brief summary of these common grounds, their current condition and steps OFEHA has or would like to take to enhance them.

Each common area is evaluated by OFEHA as to its needs. Proposals are then initiated for submittal to the Village for matching grants to supplement our funding for their updating. As you will note, areas 1, 11 and 13 were targeted for upgrades and funded in part by OFEHA and a Village Matching Grant. In partnership with OFEHA's efforts, the Village removed the dead tree at the entranceway at Country Club Drive and Western; the Village repaired some of the stone retaining walls along OFEHA subdivision roadways; the Village has removed dead trees in our common areas. If you have comments and/or suggestions for the common areas, please submit them to the Beautification Committee Co-Chairs, Kelvin Oliver and Barbara Watts.
