The Village of Olympia Fields is located in the far south suburbs of Chicago, 27 miles south of the downtown Loop.  The current population is 4,700.  The village is governed by a Village President and a board of six elected-at-large trustees.  The Village Hall is located at the corner of 207th and Governor's Highway. The Village consists of upscale homes on winding tree lined streets, giving a feeling of  rural serenity, while having access to all the amenities of urban life within easy reach.

The Metra train provides quick and easy access to downtown Chicago, while the Pace bus system provides local transportation. Driving access is available on several major expressways.
